Productivity Program Training (on-site coaching)
In this 8-12 week program, we teach the process for improving productivity using Operational Engineering (OE) tools and techniques. The training material covers all aspects of OE including LEAN, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Workforce Engagement, Situational Simulations, and Process Simulation. The training material is oriented towards what is “practical and useful” knowledge vs. emphasizing dogmatic text book oriented knowledge.
The training includes:
- Review of the basic OE process, and the various OE tools out there.
- Discuss thought process behind deciding which OE tools to utilize when.
- Detailed discussion of the OE tools that are most frequently used, with examples.
This training is a mixture of weekly lectures and 1-on-1 coaching that reinforce the concepts taught. The 1-on-1 coaching is where participants are shown how to apply the OE tools & techniques to specific problems they are working on. Since the training is spread over an 8-12 week period, by the end of the training program, the participants have both applied the OE tools to solve real world problems at work, and learned how to continue to apply OE tools effectively on future projects.
Who Should Attend: Operational leaders and manager who are responsible for getting as much productivity as possible out of their people, equipment, and processes.
Cost & Length of program: Program is 1-2 days on site for an 8-12 week period depending on number of participants and level of support needed. The deliverables are 1) OE training, and 2) completion of 4-8 OE projects by your personnel. The program cost ranges between $16,000 and $24,000 depending on number of participants getting 1-on-1 coaching.
